Summer holiday

We are now suspending our service until further notice, sorry for any inconvenience.

This means no stalls or deliveries at the moment.

More detail:

• We've been facing numerous challenges since before Christmas
• Especially after our Public Meeting in March we've had loads of support and help - a big thank you to everyone including customers and volunteers
• We were aiming to become a sustainable business, but we haven't achieved this yet. Now the generous funding we've received from Wakefield Council and NHS Wakefield looks like it will be withdrawn.
• Our funders are meeting in early August, and there should be more clarity after this. We'll put an update on this website.

An outside investor has a proposal to continue the Hungry Snail Food Co-op. This is dependent at the moment on continued support from our funders. This proposal does include major changes to the Co-op, based on an emphasis on locally grown produce. We'll keep you informed as soon as we know more.
